OUR STORY

Powerhaul Movers began in 2016 with a simple idea: take care of people and do the job right.

Our founder, Wes Bennett, was looking for a career change when his wife, a Realtor, mentioned how often her clients struggled to find dependable movers. Wes was already the person friends called when they needed help moving, so he decided to turn that willingness to help into a business.

Our first customer found us through a Craigslist ad. We completed that apartment move after 5 p.m. using an open utility trailer. There was no box truck or warehouse, just a willingness to work and a commitment to treating people well.

We soon purchased an enclosed trailer and a truck. In those early days, we charged modestly and sometimes helped people move for free. Our belief was simple: care about the customer, take pride in the work, and build a reputation worth trusting.

Within our first year, we added a crew, another trailer, and warehouse space. Today, Powerhaul has completed more than 3,000 successful moves, serving the Texarkana area and moving customers across 15 states.

Through that growth, our philosophy has remained the same: quality over quantity, with customer service at the center of everything we do.

To every customer who has trusted us with their home, belongings, and next chapter. Thank you. Your business means more to us than you know.

God bless!
